Saint Demetrios is a parish of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain under the Ecumenical PatriarchateOur priest in charge is Rev’d Oeconomos Fr. John Hookway, assisted by Reverend  Evangelos Liassi.

Matins and Divine Liturgy (in Greek with some English) is celebrated on Sundays from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and on weekdays from 9.00 am to 11.30 am according to the programme of services for the month. An English Liturgy takes place at least once a month according to the programmeFind out what is going on at the parish by checking the news page. To get the most up to date news follow us on  Facebook

Saint Demetrios Greek Festival 2019

 

Once again our parish is hosting it’s very successful and extremely popular Greek Festival. This would be our third year and the event is growing stronger and stronger, so if you wish to have a great afternoon filled with live entertainment with singing, dancing and we even have performances from the children of our Greek School, then please come along. There shall be the traditional  Greek BBQ, with Greek cakes, desserts and many patisseries, as well as many other stands which the children can enjoy and participate in.
