Saint Demetrios is a parish of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain under the Ecumenical PatriarchateOur priest in charge is Rev’d Oeconomos Fr. John Hookway, assisted by Reverend  Evangelos Liassi.

Matins and Divine Liturgy (in Greek with some English) is celebrated on Sundays from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and on weekdays from 9.00 am to 11.30 am according to the programme of services for the month. An English Liturgy takes place at least once a month according to the programmeFind out what is going on at the parish by checking the news page. To get the most up to date news follow us on  Facebook

Enfield In Bloom Competition 2019



As many of you may remember from last year our church had a splash of colour brought to it through the various plants that had been potted at the front of the the church. This year is going to be even bigger with more pots and more displays. But wait! This year our church has also been entered into the Enfield In Bloom Competition 2019 for the best public building.

If you would like to help and contribute towards making our church look amazing please contact Fr Evangelos, any one who wants to bring pots, flowers or ideas then please come along. The judging takes place between 26th June to 10th July 2019.
