Saint Demetrios is a parish of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain under the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Our priest in charge is Rev’d Oeconomos Fr. John Hookway, assisted by Reverend Evangelos Liassi.
Matins and Divine Liturgy (in Greek with some English) is celebrated on Sundays from 08.30 am to 12.00 pm and on weekdays from 9.00 am to 11.30 am according to the programme of services for the month. A walk in aid of Alzheimer’s Society

Meet at 2pm at Anastasia Lodge
Globally, dementia is one of the biggest challenges we face, with nearly 50 million people living with dementia worldwide. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia.
The team at Autumn Gardens and Anastasia Lodge are raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and invite you to join us for a 4km stroll between our care homes in Winchmore Hill and Southgate on Saturday 21 September 2019, starting at Anastasia Lodge at 2pm and finishing at Autumn Gardens.
There will be refreshments and home-made cakes available. The route is fully wheelchair accessible and children and dogs are welcome too so bring the whole family with you!
